I’m not a pro, and evidently, you aren’t either. I’m a rebel who sneaks cameras into big arenas. Cheap, sneaky, distance photography and professional, decent, portrait photography are two different things. But just because we aren’t technically supposed to have cameras doesn’t mean we can’t get a few nice shots for our collection, right?

The problems
Taking pictures at concerts presents quite a few problems, namely:

Your subject is far away.
Your subject is moving (in most cases).
You’re moving.
It’s dark.
This generally results in pictures that are:

Too small.
Too blurry.
Too dark.
Too grainy.
Forget composition, forget the rule of thirds, forget all that fancy-schmancy artsy-fartsy stuff. If you have a blurry picture, you have a bad picture, plain and simple

How To Take Good Pictures Of People

How to take good pictures with a digital camera? We can start with the fact it can take photos on the go. The screen that is on most of the cameras now a day shows you what on the photo at once; you will not be surprised at all. Face the fact that you have a modern device that has some disadvantages and advantages also.

Digital cameras are fantastic these days. A good technique is what gives your photo a high quality feel of the professional. A suggestion if you dare to try would be to switch from automated to manual mode. No matter just how much technically is within the digital camera, it could not alter itself properly to all scenarios. It just does not include any human creativity, which is what happens in the manual mode only.

In the last few years digital cameras have at least matched the true films of a few years ago. When looking for a camera that will give your control, choose one that permits manual use. It puts you within the driver sit when taking great pictures.

When your bring a subject in to the lens, “use the rule of thirds” for placement. Watch the video so you’ll know what I refering too. If you are in doubt when taking photos just move in with the zoom. If the picture is telling a story make certain to bring all components ofr it into the lens.

When utilizing the zoom in manual, play about with the focus to bring a various looks. What actually is in focus catches the eye initial. Use some color to help your topic with some contrast. Utilization of reds, greens, yellows and purples is best.

The lighting with an digital camera does not work like your regular camera. You have adjustments the flash, along with adjustments for the contrast as well as brightness. My 2 cents on what is best with them is the fact you upload your pictures to your home pc and edit.

The problem people have with digital camera pictures is until the photos are uploaded and enlarged; you will not see the imperfections. All the imperfections on skin or color of issues will not be seen, until there is the upload. You just can not see these things on the small screen of the camera.

A blurry picture can happen very easily with an digital camera in picture taking. The cause is from the hand when there is a little bit of movement during the photo. So keeping the hand still is now very important for the process. Also, this blurriness will not be seen when looking at the view screen of camera.

Problems from person to person will for the most part be unique. What I am referring to is one will over focus an object wile others will be moving the camera when taking a picture. Practice is what is needed to get you up to speed with this new technology.

Hopefully you have got the movement of the camera down pack by now. In the use of your digital camera you would have realized by now sometimes there is lighting issues. A digital camera photo needs more light than other cameras. Conventional cameras may be able take a good picture of the moon, but digital camera may just show you a speck instead of a moon. Example of an indoor grainy picture taken is if you allow your shot to be taken with the light behind your subjects. The light needs to be in front of what you are shooting.

Well I hope in giving you these tips it will help in turning you into a digital camera pro. The learning and practicing can be frustrating. Keep your hand steady for that perfect shot. Always give yourself lots of light.
// ]]>

Photography is diverse, but it has become extremely competitive as well. With the advent of digital photography, it is now more important than ever to know how to take good pictures of most things Story Line By James John
